Choose Lower Video Quality
- If you want to save data and storage always pick low or medium quality when downloading
- You dont need 1080p or 4K for every video specially music or small clips
- Go for 360p or 480p and it will take less space and less data too
Turn Off Auto Updates
- Sometime auto updates of VidMate or other apps waste too much data
- Go to setting and turn off auto update option
- This will also stop background downloads that you dont even need
Clear Cache Regularly
- VidMate keep some temp files in cache that can take space
- Open app setting and clear cache once a week
- This helps the app run smooth and also give you more free storage
Save Videos to SD Card
- If your phone storage is low use a SD card
- Go to download setting and select SD card as default save location
- This will stop phone memory from getting full fast
Download at Off Peak Time
- Try downloading videos late night or early morning
- This is when data speed is better and you use less of your data pack
- Specially helpful if you are on limited data plan
